Flow Yoga

A winning combination of strength, flexibility, balance and relaxation. This class utilizes a variety of Yoga movements, creating a challenging flow of positions which are held for various durations.  This class is not recommended for anyone with osteoporosis. This class is included free, with membership. Non-members pay $15 per class.

Gentle Yoga

Incorporating both basic Yoga postures and breathing practices, this class is more accessible for those with physical and health challenges. The class can be done entirely in a chair or can incorporate use of both a chair and the floor.  No prior Yoga expereience is required.

Pilates

Develop a more balanced body through the practice of enhancing and combining breath control, abdominal strength, and core stability. This class is included free, with membership. Non-members pay $15 per class.

Tai Chi - Monday

Each class opens with warm-ups, followed by Taiji Ball which incorporates traditional movements performed with a hand-held weighted ball. This segment focuses on conditioning muscles,nourishing the spine and bones, strengthening the core, and enhancing qi-energy("chee") flow and balance. The second half of class concentrates on the traditional Wu Hao Style of Taijiquan (Tai Chi) for balance, awareness, deeper breathing and other evidence-based benefits.

Tai Chi - Wednesday

Each class opens with warm-ups, followed by the 18 Luohan, FiveAnimals, Rising Lotus, or other traditional Qigong sets. Qigong (energy enhancing) exercises utilize smooth, simple movements, matched with breathing, to increase flexibility, coordination, awareness, and vitality.The second half of class concentrates on the traditional Wu Hao Style of Taijiquan (Tai Chi) for balance, awareness, deeper breathing and other evidence-based benefits.

Yoga

Utilizing a variety of Yoga postures and breathing practices, focus on releasing tension,enhancing energy, stretching and strengthening, as well as relaxing your mind and lifting your spirits. No yoga experience necessary, all levels are welcomed.
